Once you have taken a seat on the terrace of Moeder de Gans, Provence seems very close, although, this is indeed the Limburg Voeren. Don't expect a trendy place: Mother Goose dates from the eighteenth century! Of this old half-timbered farmhouse, the house is the oldest; The old fireplace is still almost intact. The horse stables are a little more recent. To the left of the bar, for example, you will find the horses' drinking trough. The original well is still located in the conservatory restaurant. In such an environment, it is almost obvious that authentic, artisanal preparations are served: a Voerense (pâté) board, a Voerense lunch, Voerense smoked trout fillet, fried Voerense trip... Feed anywhere! And it goes on like this for a while: rabbit leg in the Voeren way, stew in the Limburg (not Liège) way... Fortunately, there is also pâté des Fourons for the Liège supporters.
