So-called "Hof te Reyt", former abbey farm of the Saint Salvator's Abbey of Ename. Large historic farmhouse of the semi-closed type with square layout. Farmstead probably originated as a reclamation farm in the late Middle Ages at the same time as the construction of the Rijtgracht and would initially have stood on the other side of the street southeast of the current farm. At the end of the 13th century, the farm was first designated as the property of the abbey of Ename. Circa 1405 mention of "den hove ter Ryt". Destruction and looting of the farm in 1583 and 1591 and probably afterwards rebuilt on the site of the current farm. Depicted as a square farm, among other things, on the map of J. Bale of 1661-63 with mention diagonally opposite of "the old court ter Ryt". It has been owned by the De Meulemeester family for over 200 years. Imposing farmhouse located on the street opposite Landlos, on the corner with a connecting road to the Pelikaanstraat behind. Yard access in the west corner on the aforementioned side road. Iron entrance gate on heavy rectangular bluestone pillars with small top ornament. Spacious, still partly cobbled courtyard, now largely macadamized, reportedly since 1947. Suppressed manure pit to the northeast present with green planting.
With the exception of the barn and the oven, whitewashed brick farm buildings with pecked plinth, mainly dating from the 17th and 18th centuries; Thatched roofs are said to have been replaced by tiled gable roofs in the 1930s.
