Description

The first E3 Prize Flanders, named after the brand-new motorway, was ridden in 1958. Rich local flax farmers provided the necessary funding. Although this race is only a semi-classic, it boasts an impressive roll of honour including Rik Van Looy (4x), Tom Boonen (5x), Mario Cipollini, Jan Raas, Dietrich Thurau, Fabian Cancellara...
