Octagonal kiosk centrally located on the market square, built in the 1930s in cementrustics. Cemented base with false joints. Parapets and columns elaborated as gnarled trees (concrete), roof with slates, roof lantern crowned by gilded lyre. Kiosk accessible via staircase with curved edges. Signed in pedestal "decoration of parks and gardens – rock works – rustic works – works of art in concrete – DECOR – wed. Frans Janssens & sons Westmeerbeek-dorp (Prov. Antwerp) plans and prices on request Catalogue free". Restored in 1997 by Atelier Tratteggio from Hasselt (see picture in pedestal).
