Description

No. 5. Modernist villa with surrounding garden designed by Ch. Laloo in 1932 commissioned by Mr. L. Ghekiere-Dubaere. Two-storey house. under flat roof on an almost square floor plan. Facades clad with green granito; Striking finish of the side façade on the north side: projecting wall with red-black striped granite merging into a circumferential canopy above the balcony with tubular railing and rounded end on the front façade side. Originally narrower windows, replaced by large ones around 1980. Interior with spacious hall and preserved modernist staircase with quarter, wooden handrail originally painted red/yellow/blue, now white.
