Description

Copper brew kettle located at the roundabout of the Bavikhoofsestraat and the provincial road N36. by Bavik. The cockpit that was placed there in 2002 on the initiative of Bavik Brewery (Rijksweg no. 33), is said to date from around 1945. In 2003, artist Luc Lapere places a drinking frog on top of the kettle, pointing in the direction of the brewery further away (as an indication for road users). In 2005, after a traffic accident, the brew kettle was repaired by body shop De Visschere from Waregem.
