In 1910 Baptist Mosselmans built a beer warehouse. Less than a year later, an inn with a house was added. On the postcard "Dworp exit of the village" we see above the entrance door the sign "SALLE DE PARIS" and on the side façade: "J.B. MOSSELMANS - ALGOET. MD DE BIÈRES" (MD stands for "marchand"). Next to the house, the empty barrels are waiting to be exchanged at the delivery of a fresh brew. The gueuze that Jan Baptist prepared with care was highly appreciated by the local population, but was also exported to the grape region in large gueuze bakes. It was not at the door, but with cart and horse Overijse and Hoeilaart were supplied. Guillaume, who continued the business, closed the café in the hot summer of 1976 and also put an end to the story of the beer distillery.
