The garden of Christine Roelofs van Woeste Goesting is a garden where culinary biodiversity is paramount. Taste diversity is what her garden is all about. Diversity in species, but especially many different vegetables, fruits, herbs and edible flowers. In recent years, Christine has increasingly combined her passion for wild edible plants with the real vegetable garden crops. 42 types of tomatoes, 10 types of carrots, 4 colors of beets, various types of basil, ice herb, oyster leaf, different types of sorrel ..... And each crop has its own taste! Because that's what Woeste goesting is all about. In her kitchen, Christine experiments and explores the possibilities for her special dinners, catering and delicacies with all these delicious plants. Christine makes special delicacies from her own garden, in which all conservation techniques are discussed. During the open weekend there is plenty to taste at her garden (such as fermented spruce tops, pickled cherries, magnolia syrup, mountain ash jelly, etc.) and there is also an attractive garden café where all kinds of delicacies from our own kitchen will be served.
