Description

In the distance you can see the Waasland Port, with the Antwerp Euroterminal and market leader in overseas transport of 'rolling freight'. Further down the road, the Tabaknatie and ITC Rubis are also located. The new Kieldrecht lock transports seagoing vessels to their unloading quays via a shortcut. However, you are now in a compensating nature reserve: Drijdijk. Wild horses come here to graze. If you're lucky, you'll also see tufted ducks, lapwings, mute swans or marsh harriers.
