In the hamlet Koudertaveerne, next to a house on the Edingsesteenweg, an unpaved road leaves to the south. The grassy path runs between backyards and gardened meadows and follows the flank of the Kruisberg. At the lowest point, the wegel crosses a second footpath. There are open views of the surrounding meadows and the Kruisberg. The road continues to the southwest, passes a house and leads up to the Edingsesteenweg. Beyond the house, the grass path turns into a semi-paved road with pebbles. Where the footpath ends at the main road is an ascending Dutch linden tree as a corner tree, originally at a road cross.
