Pilgrimage site of Our Lady of Seven Woes

The pilgrimage site at the Donkkapel is located on the Kapelleberg, which as a cult site of Our Lady rises at least until the 14th century. Since the dedication of the pilgrimage chapel in 1652 to Our Lady of Seven Woes, a walkway with seven wooden chapels has been created here. In 1935 a monumental calvary with sculpture by the artist Aloïs De Beule was erected. In 1937 the whole was expanded with a birth cave whose images come from the studio of the same artist.
