"Religious objects coming from the provinces of Namur and Luxembourg: gold- and silverware (various peerless works including the famous Reliquary-Bust of St. Lambert, made in Aix-la-Chapelle by the goldsmith Hans von Reutlingen, before 1512. The bust contains the remarkable relic of the saint's skull. This is the largest reliquary-bust in Europe from the late Gothic period). Glassware from the 16th to 18th centuries, sculptures, objects made from sheet metal, liturgical ornaments... The Dean's room is devoted to the bishop and the cathedral chapterhouse in the 19th century. A large number of jewels, chalices and gold and silver items are on display here. The Cantor's room is devoted to painting of the Modern Period, where the Liège artist Bertolet Flemal is particularly well represented. A very large display stand, in the Archdeacons' room, presents chalices, ciboria, and a 17th century monstrance coming from the church of St. James in Liège. Other works coming from various other churches in the diocese are highlighted, in particular chandeliers and silver statues... This old collegiate church, which was promoted to the rank of cathedral after the Concordat of 1801, was founded in the 10th century, rebuilt between the 13th and 15 centuries, and restored in the mid-19th century. Simplicity and harmony emanate from the nave and the choir, as well as from the 15th and 16th century cloisters. Many works here are of great interest: 16th century and contemporary stained-glass windows, a Baroque white marble recumbent Christ by Del Cour, and outstanding pieces of 19th century furniture."
