The National Paper Museum presents a didactic presentation on the various successive papermaking techniques that have been tried and tested in the world from the 2nd century to the present day. It dwells, in the introductory part, on the succession of the different writing media that are precursors of paper. A vat papermaking workshop welcomes our groups of visitors upon prior request. Traditional disguises on mannequins, photographic, sound and audio-visual documents, archives, posters and models of floats illustrate the major event of the Malmedy folk calendar - the carnival or, according to the local Walloon name, the "Cwarmê".
