Grand Site de la Boucle de l’Ourthe.
The loop of the river Ourthe abounds in natural, heritage and historical treasures that have been renowned for centuries. Don’t under any circumstances miss the numerous panoramas that are worth a look, the most famous of which is that of the Rock of Falcons and its unbeatable view of the loop. This is the place where the oldest traces of human settlement of the town of Neupré were discovered. Through this network of walks with multiple itineraries, you will be able to explore 40 km of trails and paths that have been recently restored and signposted. 27 educational panels detail the loop’s landscape, historical and geological curiosities, plus fascinating facts about its millstone, chantoirs, remains of a Roman camp, lime kiln, stele, and more. An outstanding site for nature enthusiasts!
