Description

De Plataan in Mortsel is the youngest member of the family of Buurtrestaurants met Sense, and the first outside of Antwerp. The name of the Buurtrestaurant refers to the trees that used to stand on the Liersesteenweg. This is also played with in the interior of the restaurant.

The Plane Tree is located in the Meerminne Service Centre. In addition to being a neighborhood restaurant, De Plataan is also a cafeteria, which is open every day.

De Plataan is a collaboration between OCMW Mortsel and Sense.

Please note: You can only go to De Plataan for a reduced rate with passes issued by the OCMW Mortsel.
