Founded in 1963 as LSV: Lustige snelvaarders, in inn "Oude Drie Leien". In 1965 moved to the "Heilg Huizeken". In 1966 the frivolous name "De Lustige Snelvaarders" was renamed "Leiesnelvaarders". The club boat is docked on the Leie at the end of the Hoge Lakedreef. The room is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 2 pm. You can enjoy a drink on the water in the middle of the quiet and picturesque surroundings of the Leie. Non-members are also welcome if registered in the guestbook.
