On the redesigned village square, the beautiful artwork "Onze Zwaluw" by William Arijs catches the eye. In addition to a table and chairs, with the church inverted in it, there are the two lampposts with a zipper of swallows on the wires, referring to the summers of yesteryear when these birds rested here in large numbers in a village that was only served late to get electricity.
