During the summer months a zone is reserved on the beach for anglers between breakwater 1 and 2. At low tide the water brings up most of the fish between the breakwaters, while at hightide its the roundabout and the beach section between Wenduine and De Haan that yields the greatest amounts of fish.
In the Vosseslag a fishing lake is situated between the sand-dunes, close to the golf course. A day permit can be obtained. In the Blankenberge canal during the summer, carp, white fish and eel can be fished.
