The starting point of this work is the collection of pasted stanzas from the Guido Gezelle archive in combination with the characteristic hatching in Gezelle's notes. The work is a glued together collection of notes, scribbles, words... These drawings then incorporate hatching that together form an image of Guido Gezelle's portrait.
