What is this tunnel doing here?
This is a tunnel that was used at the time to make measurements to determine the right place for the construction of the dam.
Here the rocks were not strong enough and therefore the dam was not built here but a little further away.
Part of the hike "Adventurous walk Barrage Nisramont - climbing over Le Herou - wading through the Ourthe".
