According to the atlas of neighbourhood roads of 1841, there was a windmill on this corner at the intersection of the 'Chemin 18 Molenbeekstraat', the 'Molenveld', Chemin 17' then still 'Pastorijstraet' and 'sentier 74' 'Achterstemolenvoetweg', now this part is also called 'Molenveld'.
The 'Kleine Achterstemolenvoetweg' 'sentier 73', which ran behind the mill, was abolished in the 1920s.
