A unique pedunculate oak.
This imposing old oak tree was once knotted. As a result, he has been given a longer life (normally 500 years). The trunk does not continue to grow, but branches low into a number of gnarled, twisted main branches. The branching pattern in pedunculate oaks is very irregular and sinuous. In this oak, the branches touch the ground.
It has a trunk circumference of 325 cm at the base (at a height of 60 cm). The crown allows a lot of light to pass through, which allows a lot of undergrowth. For example, this tree has a diameter of 16 meters.
