The museum of Burg-Reuland is actually three-in-one. The 'Heimatmuseum' shows what you would expect. Here it is told how the villagers lived, worked and enjoyed in the 'good old days'. The 'Leben und Evolution' section uses rocks and fossils to bring the geological epoch of the Upper Lower Devonian to life. After all, here was here on the southern edge of the Stavelot-Hohes-Venn massif, a subtropical shallow sea with marshy coastal areas. But surprising is the 'Paul Gérady Museum'. With books, photographs and press releases we are told the life and work of the poet Paul Gérardy.
The poet Paul Gerardy was born in Maldingen on 15 February 1870, which then belonged to Prussia. He died on 1 June 1933 in Brussels. The poet left us an extensive literary work, including well-known works such as 'Blätter für die Kunst', 'Roseaux', 'Les Carnets du Roi' and 'Der große König Patacake'.
