The watermill on the Grote Motte watercourse is already mentioned in 1596. The current building dates from the 17th century with a roof from the 19th century. The mill has not been in operation since the fifties.
It is a brick and stone mill building under a gable roof with flat tiles; Appendix to dwelling house. The water façade has a natural stone base and corners; There are layers of bacon in the side wall. The waterwheel building also has a natural stone base and is enclosed under a hipped roof with S-tiles. The roof construction of the milling room is 19th-century.
Water wheel: metal, profiles and sheet iron assembled with screws and nuts; diameter about 6 meters; steel shaft.
Sluice: Concrete (interbellum); iron-strip-reinforced, wooden lock gates with rack and pinion controls; sluice operated from grinding room. Two sluices, brick and stone, thresholds in a stepped arrangement.
Brick bridge with I-profile beams and iron railing.
Installation: Half-height grinding loft; rests on iron I-poutrellen from wall to wall. Cast-iron gears (19th century); The pivots of the bottom irons are on brick consoles, the pinions can be switched on and off by means of a tension ring, lighting system with handwheel. Two pairs of grinding stones (artificial stones) with two-stroke rhinestones and hats; Wooden stone boxes and accessories temporarily dismantled.
