My colorful children's drawings could often be found on the walls at our house and in my notebooks at school. In drawing school I discovered that there was more than just crayons and markers. An enthusiastic aesthetics teacher sparked my interest in art. I liked to take a drawing or painting course whenever possible.

A few years ago I started painting on canvas. Especially the passion for color and the emotion that you can express in a work appeal to me. My works are mostly abstract representations with nature as a source of inspiration. They are literally "hand" work. But if there is enough time and enthusiasm, I sometimes make realistic works with the brush.
