After a long slope, a reward usually follows and that is no different here. This is the highest point on the bike ride, about 53 m above sea level. You have a nice overview of the Senne valley, in which the canal has also been excavated, Brussels beckons at the end. The strong slopes on the other side of the Senne valley and the wooded plateaus of, among others, the Sonian Forest are also clearly visible. Also striking is the former water tower, built in 1933-1934 on one of the highest points of the municipality of Sint-Pieters-Leeuw. The water tower has been out of use since 1955 and was converted into a private home at the end of 1998.
