This war memorial is located on the road from Gros-Fays to Six-Planes.
It commemorates the victims of Gros-Fays and Six-Planes in the First and Second World Wars.
6 names are listed, with the text below:
"Dance la paix du christ et sa mère,
ici leurs noms, au ciel leurs ames".
Gros-Fays is far away from the major arteries and exudes tranquility. You can visit, among other things, its castle farm, its church, its old brewery and its mill, but also its rich small heritage. The village is located in a remarkable natural setting against the side of a hill that slopes down to the Semois.
One of those green treasures is the forest with its many beech trees. From the sharply delineated peak you have a beautiful view of the Semois valley and its forests.
