This picnic table is located near the tumulus in the music forest.
This prehistoric burial mound (tumulus) dates back to the Bronze Age. This sandy mound is about 2 meters high and has a diameter of 8 to 9 meters. In the center of the burial mound is a chamber, surrounded by roughly stacked ferruginous sandstone. At the end of the 19th century, amateur geologist Edouard Joly found two urns filled with burnt bones, ashes and coal in this room (tomb). According to research, the bones come from a man aged 40 to 60 years and from a woman aged 30 to 40 years. In 1864 the Geuzentoren was built on the second burial mound.
