This building "Maison Leclef" is located on Rue Alexandre Daoust. This modernist style building (Art Nouveau - after the name of the popular magazine "the youth") was built in 1907 by the architect Edouard Frankinet with graffiti by Paul Cauchie.

The building is a listed building.

The Modernist style was particularly popular between 1890 and 1914 and was a reaction to Impressionism, which was perceived as too blurred .
