Built in 1729, the Faber Mill is in the center of Hotton.
This water and grain mill was of great importance at the time, as it was used to feed cattle and to produce bread flour .
The mill remained in operation until the 1960s - it was purchased by the Municipality of Hotton in the late 1980s. Today (2021) a restoration project is planned: " The restoration of the mill, its hydraulic structures and internal mechanisms will allow the development of a mill " Again activity there ", explains Viviane Philippart, librarian and day guide. This project is part of a contemporary approach since the mill will produce the necessary energy for its needs."
The restoration project could be undertaken once the upstream dam is repaired .
