This tree is in front of the church of Han-sur-Lesse.

Around the 17th century, several Walloon towns , including Han-sur-Lesse, had prickly trees. People should touch the affected part of the body (especially the teeth) with a nail to get rid of the disease. These trees generally stood near a church , abbey, or Calvary.
