Crupet is a village of about 500 inhabitants that will not leave you indifferent for several reasons.
Crupet is home to many old and typical houses on the Haute, Basse and Messe streets: volumes with three cells,... the old stone houses alternate between ocher sandstone (quarried from the ridges) and gray limestone (quarried from the valleys) ; mixture of limestone (white) and sandstone (ochre) masonry, half-timbered and mud, etc...
The real estate heritage: a core of preserved houses (18th and 19th centuries) with a church and castle from the 12th century, a presbytery from the 17th century and remains of old mills for grain, oil and paper production, etc.
