The old rectory is located behind the church in Lissewege.
In the garden of the old rectory of Lissewege there are also a large number of statues that are part of the statue route of the White Village of Lissewege.
The old rectory was built in 1638. The 19th century facade on the street side is in a sober Flemish Renaissance. The Bruges-style rear facade is built in yellow brick. There is a beautiful rectory garden with fruit and ornamental trees (visible by appointment only, unless the sculpture route is in progress). After the restoration in 1981, the building was converted into a library with meeting room. The facade and the street became known to the general public in the VTM series Wittekerke as the home of 'Celiene'.
