This chapel is located on the Diestersedijk in Hechtel-eksel and is dedicated to Our Lady of Assistance.

The photo was taken in 2022, the year in which the Mairale celebrations took place. During these celebrations, which only take place every 25 years, the chapels are decorated with the colors white and blue , the colors of Mary.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help , sometimes also Our Lady of Help and Victory, is a title of Mary associated with a Byzantine icon of the same name. The icon has been in Rome since the late 15th century , but may be of an older date. The image is very popular with Roman Catholics.
