Tudor Castle - Bruges

Tudor Castle is a protected monument and was built in 'Tudor style' in the early 20th century. The castle is currently not accessible.

The castle is located in a ( freely accessible) domain of no less than 40 hectares, in the middle of the wooded area of historic Bruges. Discover the castle forest, the ornamental garden and the herb garden with beehive!

Tudor is one of the most recent castles in Bruges. Built in 1904, complete with ornamental garden, walled vegetable garden with house and coach house. During the World War, the beautiful castle soon caught the eye of the occupiers. The facilities for their headquarters left their marks in the access lane. The coach house became a tea room , the castle passed into private hands. The surrounding gardens, woods and herb garden are public domain and property of the City of Bruges. The ornamental garden was recently redesigned in a more maintenance-friendly concept.
