Like other rest areas along the heights of Spa, this pavilion dominates the northwestern part of the city.
It was erected in memory of Félix Bernard. He was a Liège poet who died in Spa in 1903. The pavilion has a hexagonal shape and is reminiscent of the Hesse-Rhinfels pavilion. Like this pavilion, extensive use is made of brick and natural stone, it is open on three sides thanks to the presence of columns and it has a gable roof.
