This is a work by Patrice Liron, built as part of Les Sentiers d'art 2017 and on display in Gesves.
These oak men are no heroes. They just try to stand, to breathe. This installation exposes light and time to the nakedness of the raw wood man, that nakedness that underlines his fragility and his search for shelter . This work by the artist is poetic and even mysterious at first. Like the place where it is located, the installation focuses positive energies that explore man's relationship with nature.
« Sans refuge ou nus comme un ver » is an assembly of about 25 oak planks , mostly from an old Bordeaux wine barrel.
