This small chapel is located on Rue de Mosseroux in Thon.

Inside is a statue of Saint Francis of Assisi. He was a mystic and founder of the Order of Friars Minor . He is known for his vision in the church of San Damiano ('Francis, go and restore my house.'), for his life of radical poverty and for his Canticle of the Sun. His message of simplicity and love for fellow creatures continues to inspire.

A "Borne Potale" is a Belgianism for a niche on a column or pedestal containing the image of a saint. Sometimes leaning against a wall, embedded in a hedge or simply built on the edge of a field. It is therefore a niche that has the sole purpose of housing one or more images of saints or saints, a cross, ....
