Plastered, stone-built building with western tower and octagonal choir. Tower and nave are in the Romanesque style: 12th-13th century, with original round-arched windows.
1741 (year number in the keystone of the choirman); renovation of the dilapidated choir and construction of the front porch.
1912; Construction of the sacristy
Main altar
Wooden high altar from the 18th century with columns and carved wooden cheeks and the figures of the apostles Peter and Paul on the side pillars.
Side panels with rococo ornaments and vaulted upper with beautiful reliefs of Saints Joseph and Sebastian.
Joseph's altar was consecrated in 1747. The painting depicting Saint Joseph and Jesus as a child comes from the former castle chapel in Ouren and has been shortened on the side. The canvas dates from the late 17th century. It was popularly attributed to Peter Paul Rubens or one of his pupils. It is said that the painter and the lords of Ouren at the time were very friendly. On his travels between Antwerp and Cologne, Rubens often stayed at the castle in Ouren.
The sandstone arms of Giltingen and Margareta von Ouren, 1625, were excavated on the mound in 1858.
In the tower are two bells from 1430 and 1793.
