If you're not quite tumuli from the climb to the Plateau of Caestert, you'll notice the Tumulus of Emaël, a Gallo-Roman burial mound, on your left. Nowadays there is a wooden cross on the top. More information about the Gallo-Roman presence on the Plateau of Caestert can be found here.
