This building, built in 1895 , was the Salesian cradle of Tournai.
In 2009, the Salesian Community left the building and it was renovated. After three years of construction, the oratorio has undergone a facelift. Four levels, on a total area of 1400m², today house eight platforms intended for the electricity, electronics and IT departments of the Don Bosco Institute.
The Salesian Community refers to the religious community based on the spiritual legacy of Saint John Bosco, also known as Don Bosco. The Salesians, as members of this community are called, follow the educational and upbringing principles established by Don Bosco in the 19th century.
