The Notre-Dame d'Harscamp church, formerly Saints-Pierre-et-Paul , is a Renaissance style church from 1750 .
A former collegiate church and monastery buildings from the early Middle Ages were replaced by an imposing brick and limestone church built around 1224 by the Friars Minor Récollet. The new Notre-Dame church was built on the same site.
Much of the furniture comes from the former church of the Franciscan monks . The paintings that adorn the walls of the choir are works by Joseph van Severdonck. They illustrate scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary.
It was classified as an important Walloon heritage site in 1936 and declared desecrated in 2004 . Today the church is used for cultural activities under the name 'Espace culturel d'Harscamp' .
