This remarkable ancient temple dedicated to Saint Therese of Lisieux was built in 1932 in the domaine marial of Sugny.
This building (H: 10m; L: 8m; W: 7m) is an exact replica of the main altar in the church of Lisieux . The building with a square plan is surmounted by a small dome and preceded by a portico composed of 4 columns in pairs at both ends and surmounted by a triangular pediment.
The aedicula contains an altar on a small podium with three steps. On top of the stage is a 3-sided glazed altar with a reproduction of the recumbent statue of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux . It is decorated all around with pink stucco depicting a rose bush .
The altar is crowned by a vaulted niche framed by columns. Above is a statue of Saint Therese in ecstasy.
