Clearwater Lakes is an example of a twin-asteroid impact. You can clearly observe this from the shape. The assumption is that the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs was a twin-asteroid. Two asteroids are orbiting eachother. Just 1/50 craters caused by asteroids on Earth comes in pairs. This is strange because 15% of near-Earth asteroids are binary or twin-asteroids.
