Gaiserwald

Gaiserwald is a municipality in the Wahlkreis of St. Gallen in the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland. The municipality consists of the villages of St. Josefen, Abtwil and Engelburg.
Gaiserwald has an area, as of 2006, of 12.7 km2 . Of this area, 49.8% is used for agricultural purposes, while 30.2% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 18.8% is settled and the remainder is non-productive .
