Banque Hottinger & Cie SA was the Swiss private bank of the Hottinger family, headquartered in Zurich.
Hans-Konrad Hottinger led the family into banking in 1786, shortly thereafter establishing Banque Hottinguer in Paris . The name Hottinguer immediately became synonymous with international trade and European economic life. For example, it took part in the creation of Compagnie Générale des Eaux, financed the construction of the trans Siberian railway and founded the Insurance company Drouot .
