The Prüm cycle path follows the course of the Prüm from Stadtkyll to Minden for about 100 kilometres. The section between Prüm and Waxweiler is particularly popular with families, as it coincides with the former railway line. Otherwise the route is quite demanding. Sights along the way include the St. Salvator Basilica in Prüm, the interactive museum "Devonium" in Waxweiler and the Bitburg reservoir in Biersdorf am See. The meters high hop plants at Holsthum are also impressive.
