From Storkower See to the chain of Glubigseen - along the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park

The nature park Dahme-Heidesee exerts its special charm through quaint canals, narrow flows, and barely discovered lakes. A diverse flora and fauna encounter water sports enthusiasts on this tour, especially for those who enjoy being in a quiet area. Two locks must be crossed. The opportunity for landings exists at different bathing areas and of course in Storkow. Length / Duration: 14 km (1 day) Start / Finish: Storkow (Mark) or Wendisch Rietz Arrival / Departure: Public transport: From Berlin Hauptbahnhof take the RE2 (Cottbus) to Königs Wusterhausen. From here continue with the RB36 (Frankfurt / Oder) to Storkow / Mark (approx. 1.5 hours). Car: From Berlin via the A10 and A12 to Storkow (approx. 1 hour). Tour description: Start the canoe trip next to the beach at Storkower See or at the Karlslust beach or at the Wolfstouren boat rental in Wolfswinkel. The Storkower See is known among water enthusiasts as a popular motorboat and sailing area. Cross the elongated lake towards Wendisch Rietz. A special highlight is passing by the 1903 built Jagdschloss Hubertushöhe. Before passing through a canal to the southern tip of the beautiful Scharmützelsee, you pass the first self-service lock in Wendisch Rietz, before turning into the Großer Glubigsee through a flow. There, you pass through the second lock at the Fischhaus, which is currently out of operation. The canoe must be carried over at this point. At the Glubigseeschleuse, you can have your canoe picked up by Wolfstouren if desired. The paddling tour on the Spring- and Glubigsee is particularly calm, as no motorboats are allowed here.
