A leisurely, beautiful circular tour with steep climbs in a varied landscape. A highlight of the tour is the "Auf dem Schucht" viewpoint. The hill is crowned by a gigantic oak tree and right next to it an imposing cross with a gigantic view over the Blies valley.
On the outskirts of Blieskastel-Bierbach, the beautifully situated Grohbach valley opens up.
The "Ins Grohbachtal" hiking trail starts from here. After passing the Kanzel, a rocky outcrop with a Kneipp basin below, the trail climbs up to the "Auf dem Schucht" viewpoint. This hill is crowned by a gigantic oak tree and right next to it an imposing cross with a gigantic view over the Blies Valley.
The trail continues past the "Sieben Fichten", a turnstile in the forest, from where you can reach Kirkel, Wörschweiler or Lautzkirchen and the Peterseiche
