The "Rubenheimer Brunnenweg" loop is well worth a visit in the Bliesgau. The starting point is the Rohrentalweiher pond. It is idyllically situated in a side valley of Rubenheim surrounded by orchards and pastures. There is a managed hut on the south bank. There is also a sunbathing lawn right by the pond for sunbathing and relaxing.
A lovely loop for anyone who loves fountains! A tour with constantly changing views of the beautiful Bliesgau cultural landscape, with its typical mosaic of orchards, forests and small villages.
The fountain trail leads past 16 fountains (e.g. Rohrentalbrunnen; Münchhausenbrunnen or the Barbarabrunnen), some of which have benches where you can take a break from hiking.
